Welcome back to the Ring Legacy!

I don't even know what is going on here. Toddlers in cribs, I guess. Belles Will sitting quietly on the left, Decoder digging for gold on the right.

Gordon provides more leopard print undies fan service while The One upgrades the sprinklers to automatic.

Eddy Current gets quite a lot of love, although the twins take up a lot of everyone's time as I try to get them maximally skilled up so they have an easier time of it later in life.
This is harder than you might think. The game does not show certain skills for toddlers so while they bang away on the xylophone and they get some sort of mysterious "music/creativity skill" absolutely nothing shows in the skill panel. And then they pick up the guitar when they're teens and BAM! mystery skill points.
So yeah, it's kind of hard to get them skilled up because until they can officially learn a skill you have no idea what it is that they're learning.

Decoder is giving the learning of the mystery skills her hardest, though. I think she's managed to read all the toddler books despite her neat freak father and the maid insisting on putting them away.

Speaking of the maid, this is the first time I've had the maid slack off in this legacy. Hope she doesn't make a habit of that!

Don't worry it's not yet another birthday for Molly nor am I offing her with a strategic blowing out of candles while she's an elder. What you cannot see really clearly is that she is actually holding Eddy Current, because it's actually HIS birthday.

He's kind of cute

It was at this point that I decided that Narya really really really needed to go to China. What follows for most of the rest of the update is a "Narya in China mish mash", consisting mostly of scenery and including several videos.

Nín hǎo

A quick change of clothing later Narya checks out the adventure board.

I don't know how well she can actually run in that dress but she DOES have stompy boots so I guess that makes it OK?

Narya achieves some fairly unimpressive air on the Kenspa.

Spookily quiet.

This is the point at which I facepalmed. I guess the new patch includes a Tomb Raiding For Dummies plug-in.

I keep forgetting that sims are left-handed and then I notice and am delighted with this fact all over again.

A koi pond. So pretty.

So of course Narya has to go fishing in it.

That is a BIG fish.

I may be just a little bit obsessed with this location.

Just little teeny tiny bit obsessed. Because I absolutely didn't have another 50 images just like those. And I didn't take more later on in Narya's trip. Nope, NOT AT ALL!

Random picture of a broken cart is random.

Into the belly of the beast.

And out of the demon's ass.
The next part is going to constitute of a bunch of tomb and scenery photos with occasional commentary by me. I recorded a few videos of Narya exploring tombs and doing martial arts, so feel free to just enjoy the scenery until the part back at the house starts.

This is the special merchant's house. Narya tracked him down here when she had to deliver some stuff to him.

I noticed this step-stone (that opens secret passages) in the middle of the square but Narya didn't have the correct keystone to open the underground passages. I guess that's one that we'll be exploring on another occasion.

At this point I discovered that I couldn't get narya back home. The deadline for leaving China came and went and she remained in that little field next to the sunken boats. She decided to do a spot of snake charming while waiting for me to get her home. I finally hit on the idea of having her use her cell phone to end the trip and when I saved and exited the game and then re-entered it finally flung her back home.
Here are the videos I took. The first one is actually a leftover from Egypt that I forgot I had taken.

The old house was really rather unwieldy and badly built so the Rings abandoned it for a beachside home with some of the new Ambitions stuff, such as the trampoline. The house had the Beatiful Vista perk so everyone is in a good mood most of the time.

Everyone is most excited to be there (please ignore the lack of decoration around the place but I spent all of their money building the house and buying furniture so the walls are rather bare and there are no pot plants, etc).

I turned on Awesomemod's option to move with plants but this failed abysmally and Narya had to replant the whole garden. And they lost all the cherry trees because they had not borne fruit yet so I had no cherries to plant.

Everyone is addicted to the trampoline
Time for an awkward house tour that got abandoned halfway through me taking pictures for it.

The front.

The rear, which leads out to the beach. You can see the future graveyard, which actually has the nursery windows facing out on it. Thus life begins and ends within spitting distance of each other.

LOL lighthouse.

And that's the view the other way. I have no idea what that light phenomenon in the distance is supposed to be. It's not very clear in this small pic but in the original unresized image you can see this huge beacon of light going from the ground into the sky, to the left of that brown two storey house in the centre.

The living room.

Kitchen/dining.

The One's computer station, ie. where the novels that bring in most of the money this family lives off of are born.

The very orange nursery that overlooks the graveyard.

The downstairs guest toilet.

Gordon and Narya's bedroom.

And this was the point at which I lost interest in taking pictures of the house and followed Narya down to the laundry in the basement, which also houses a huge gym with 2 martial arts training dummies and board breakers plus sundry gym equipment.

Can't remember what it was but Molly fulfilled some sort of fruit-delivery opportunity at the restaurant. As soon as she came out, this female sim went into labour. We didn't hang around to see the baby born, though. Probably should have taken her to the hospital now that I think about it...

I love the new house. The views are so pretty! And that's Molly fishing up a storm so they can use the catch for garden fertiliser.

* Loves *
And then the twins aged up and I forgot to buy them cake. Which is just as well because all the food in the replicator and in teh fridge went off during the move and I keep having to get them to replicate all this horrid food so I can get it all out of the replicator. Needless to say there has been a lot of vomiting going on with a whole lot of Neauseous moodlets all over the place.

Belles Will

Decoder: Grampa... I'm a little bit stuck...

She managed to get out from underneath the turtle.
See you next time!
